About the Dodge Hornet

Ready to experience the next generation of Dodge performance in the form of an athletic compact SUV? The dynamic Dodge Hornet may be small in size but it’s big on attitude. Available with your choice of a thrilling turbocharged 2.0-liter engine or an advanced electrified plug-in hybrid powertrain – it’s your turn to help write the next chapter in the history of Dodge performance. Regardless of which one you choose, standard all-wheel drive means you’ll be prepared for whatever the weather has in store for your weekend plans. Inside the driver-focused interior of the Hornet, you’ll find an impressive list of technology features including the groundbreaking Uconnect® 5 infotainment system featuring smartphone integration. A full suite of active safety features means that you’ll always have a helping hand when you need it most. Other premium features like leather-trimmed upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and Harman Kardon® Premium Sound System help showcase how the exhilarating Dodge Hornet is far from your ordinary compact SUV.

What the Critics Say

“Where the Hornet beats its competition, though, is in its spunky on-road demeanor. Dodge has also equipped every model with a generous list of standard features that includes a digital gauge display, the company's most up-to-date infotainment interface, and a host of driver-assistance features including automated emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection.” – Car and Driver

“The great thing about the Hornet is that you don’t need to spend more than the minimum. The base 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder “Hurricane” engine makes 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. With it, the Hornet hits 60 mph in 6.5 seconds, which is already quicker than just about every competing model. It has a fat power curve, so you can step on the throttle anytime and it’ll take off.” – MotorTrend

What’s New For 2024

Following its successful launch just last year, the Dodge Hornet returns for 2024 with one significant update. Making history as the very first plug-in hybrid vehicle in the history of the Dodge brand, the all-new Hornet R/T joins the lineup in 2024 with 288 horsepower and 32 miles of all-electric driving range. Now with four trim levels to choose from, there’s never been a better opportunity to experience all that the thrilling Dodge Hornet has to offer.
